  18. DESCRIPTION
  19.  
  20.     ColorFontMaster (CFM) is a shareware  Colorfont generator/editor.
  21.     Also single bitmap fonts can be generated and outline fonts can be con-
  22.     verted into bitmap (Color)fonts.
  23.     ColorFontMaster can generate Colorfonts in the following manners:
  24.       - Create Colorfonts out of single bitmap/outline fonts and extrude-,
  25.         edge- and fill them with brushes or textures.
  26.       - Edit existing Colorfonts into new ones.
  27.       - Create Colorfonts out of any image, where the glyphs are already
  28.         drawn and you just have to clip them.
  29.       - Draw your own Colorfonts in the ColorFontMaster editor.

  31.     It uses OS 2.04 or better and in case the locale.library is present,
  32.     the program will display its texts in the selected language, otherwise
  33.     the english language is used as a default.

  35.     Some ColorFontMaster features:
  36.     - capable of generating/editing Colorfonts with 2 colors up to 256 colors!
  37.     - fully OS 2.x and 3.x compatible. DOES NOT RUN UNDER 1.x !!
  38.     - fully localized! Included are: english (default), nederlands and
  39.       deutsch.
  40.     - supporting proportional font generation (can be switched off)!
  41.     - Under OS 3.x and above: loading by DataTypes. ANY type of picture
  42.       standard can be loaded.
  43.     - AA colormap handling fully respected.
  44.     - offering you to load ANY size picture containing your own drawn
  45.       coloured characters upto various sizes and convert them into a Color-
  46.       font.
  47.     - OS 3.x with AA chipset offers editing in 32-bits color per gun.
  48.     - able to preset the font contents, without having to 'delete'
  49.       characters of the existing font (Ideal for making demo-fonts
  50.       or just to preserve valuable disk-space).
  51.     - selectable to use ASL- or ReqTools file selectors!
  52.     - AmigaGuide® supported (documentation included).
  53.     - processing user startup settings by ToolTypes and preferences.
  54.     - capable of scaling Colorfonts!
  55.     - offering programmers to include Colorfonts in C programs, by 
  56.       generating C-code of the Colorfont.
  57.     - equiped with a comfortable editor, with pixel precise settings
  58.       of proportional variables.
  59.     - equiped with a Pix/Colorfont generator: make your own (Pix) fonts
  60.       of existing bitmap/outline fonts and colorize them with textures,
  61.       outlines and extrude them in any direction you want.
  62.     - able to quantisize (reduce colors) a picture to less colors.
  63.     - able to remap colormaps.
  64.     - able to edit existing fonts.
  65.     - able to save patterns, to be able to use again for generating a 
  66.       Colorfont.
  67.     - configuring automatically the PAL/NTSC modes.
  68.     - offering image processing utilities for brightness/contrast, 
  69.       embossing ,convolution etc. and even generation of grey-scaled
  70.       anti-aliased Colorfonts!

  80.         gadtools.library, layers.library, utility.library and icon.library.
